Zentz manufactures compatible Graco hose replacement parts in-house. Most aftermarket hot melt parts suppliers source components from third-party manufacturers and resell them. Zentz controls the full production process, which means tighter consistency between parts, greatly increased hose quality, faster turnaround on non-stock items, and the ability to make design revisions without waiting on an outside supplier.
Heated hoses provide a consistent temperature for the hot-melt adhesive as it travels from the melter to the applicator. Without consistent heat along the length of the hose, the adhesive can cool, thicken, and cause inconsistent dispensing or blockages. The heated hoses are designed for heat retention and include both a heater element and an RTD sensor to keep the adhesive at the correct application temperature throughout the line.
A traditional externally heated hose wraps the heater element around the outside of the fluid tube. New internally heated hoses run the heater element through their interior, closer to the adhesive. Internal heating tends to produce a more uniform temperature distribution along the length of the hose, reducing hot spots and improving temperature control at the applicator. The Graco hose replacement parts listed on this page use an internal heating configuration, rather than an external heated hose.
Uneven heat along a hose creates temperature variation in the adhesive before it reaches the applicator. That variation affects adhesive viscosity, which directly translates into inconsistent bead weight, placement accuracy, and bond strength. Accurate and uniform heating keeps the adhesive at a consistent temperature from the melter outlet to the gun, giving you more predictable application results.
Yes. These are drop-in replacements built to Graco OEM specs. The fluid and electrical connections are sized to match your existing equipment, so no adapters or modifications are needed. Each listing includes the Graco OEM reference number to confirm you’re selecting the correct hose for your system.
The key specs to match are hose length, heated capacity rating, and voltage. If you have those details from your existing hose or equipment documentation, you can find the corresponding listing. If you’re uncertain, call 717-274-6775, and our team can confirm the right hose before you order.
Using the wrong hose can cause problems for your system. A hose with a lower heated capacity rating than your system requires may not maintain an adequate adhesive temperature at your flow rate, leading to inconsistent pressure and poor application quality. A hose with mismatched electrical connections won’t integrate properly with your melter’s temperature control circuit. Matching the OEM spec is important to achieve accurate seals and avoid those issues.
Aftermarket parts from a manufacturer that controls the production process cost less than OEM parts while maintaining the same compatibility and performance standards. That’s different from lower-cost parts produced by a supplier with looser tolerances or unknown materials. Zentz manufactures these hoses rather than sourcing and reselling them. That means no distributor margin between the manufacturer and the buyer. The hoses are built to the same OEM specs and tolerances, so the cost difference comes from the supply chain, not from cutting corners on materials or construction.
Yes, both. A longer hose means more surface area for heat loss, which is why higher heated capacity ratings are typically paired with longer lengths in the listings. On the pressure side, a longer fluid path increases resistance, thereby affecting the dispensing pressure at the applicator. Staying within the hose length your system was configured for keeps both temperature and pressure within spec.
Hose lifespan depends heavily on operating conditions: temperature cycling, physical flexing, adhesive type, and how often the system runs. A hose built to OEM tolerances, installed correctly, and maintained at the right operating temperature will outlast one that’s undersized for the application, running hotter than spec or receiving reduced maintenance. If you’re replacing hoses more frequently than expected, it’s worth reviewing whether the heated capacity rating matches your actual output.
Yes. Zentz supplies hoses, modules, applicators, filters, pumps, and melter rebuild services, and also handles circuit board repairs and field service. If a hose failure points to a broader system issue, Zentz can supply or service the other components involved rather than leaving you to source them separately.
Zentz can manufacture custom hose lengths and configurations. Because engineering and production are in-house, Zentz can spec out a custom part and build it without subcontracting. Most custom parts ship within four weeks. Contact us with your requirements, and a product expert will confirm whether a standard listing covers your needs or a custom build is the right path.
Yes, Zentz ships internationally. Most in-stock hoses ship the same day or the next day. If a specific configuration isn’t in stock, Zentz can expedite production to meet your timeline. Call ahead if you’re working against a tight maintenance window.
Yes. All hoses on this page are rated for 240 VAC, which aligns with power standards used in most international markets. Zentz ships worldwide with no geographic restrictions on orders.
